Close Races in Chubbuck

Kevin England will take the Mayor's seat from brother, Steven England, an intense vote that edged him forward by only 76 votes.  Probably the closest race for Mayor, Councilman Brent Marshall's comment that it shows the City has a lot of work to do to bring the community together is right on target.

Mayor Elect England made a lot of promises on streets and bringing business, we'll see if he can deliver.

We'll have a new face on the Council for this term, Ryan Lewis will round out the Council in January and will need to use his current knowledge to hit the ground running.  Being an attorney, it will be interesting to see if
the City of Chubbuck ends up making some changes in how it functions.  Josh Ellis retained his seat.  Councilman Ellis has said he will continue to ask tough questions and make sure the city does what it needs to get the streets taken care of.  Now is the time to see what these elected officials do in the next four years.
